Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services. By engaging with our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Company Information

Consiliuma Design is a web design company based in Nottingham, UK, with satellite staff in the US and SE Asia. All staff members are British nationals. Contact: hello@consiliuma.co.uk

2. Project Management and Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide necessary content and materials in a timely manner, including photos, videos, copy, and completed questionnaire forms. Insufficient information may result in project delays, unsatisfactory design, or potential cancellation.

3. Decision Making

All projects require a single designated decision-maker who will be responsible for:

• Providing feedback
• Approving designs
• Making final decisions
• Coordinating internal stakeholders

4. Payment Terms

We require a 50% deposit to start your project. The remaining balance will be split with 25% at project midpoint and 25% at project completion, unless otherwise specified in writing.

Payment Specifics:

• Payments accepted in GBP (via HSBC UK) or USD (via USDT)
• Currency will be specified in the quote
• Alternative payment methods must be agreed upon in writing

5. Late Payments and Work Suspension

Late fees will apply for delayed payments. Any delay in payment will result in:

• Immediate suspension of work
• No guarantee of immediate resumption upon payment if other projects have been scheduled
• Possible project rescheduling based on current workload

6. Additional Costs and Subscriptions

The client is responsible for:

• All third-party subscription costs
• Plugin licenses
• Premium features
• Hosting fees

Unless explicitly included in the original quote

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Final work is owned by the client upon full payment. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio, website, and social media, granted we have permission from the client.

For pro-bono work:

• All intellectual property rights remain with Consiliuma Design
• Usage rights will be specified in writing

8. Confidentiality and Security

We treat all client information as confidential, except as required by UK law. Sensitive information such as email logins, passwords, and financial details will be securely handled and not shared with third parties.

Password Security Protocol:

Clients must:

• Change passwords before granting us access
• Change passwords again after project completion
• Never share personal passwords

9. Project Changes and Additional Work

Changes to scope, new requirements, and revisions must follow our change management process. Additional work beyond the original scope will:

• Require written approval
• Be quoted separately
• Need payment terms agreed upon before commencement

10. Revisions and Approvals

Each project includes two rounds of revisions. Additional revisions are charged at an additional fee.

11. Legal

Our liability is capped at the amount paid for the service. We disclaim all warranties. These terms are governed by the laws of jurisdiction, specific to the United Kingdom.

We may amend these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of relevant changes via email.
